The kinds of personal information we collect will depend upon our relationship with you, including whether we collect the information from you as a customer, supplier, contractor, job applicant or some other capacity. We do not generally collect sensitive information and we will only collect sensitive information about you with your consent (unless we are otherwise required or authorised by or under law to do so).

- if you are a job applicant, referees whose details you provide to us.
We may also disclose your personal information to other third parties and for other purposes where we are required or authorised by or under law to do so (including where you have provided your consent).
OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE
We do not disclose your personal information to recipients which are located outside Australia.

When you visit our website (www.caterlink.com.au), we may collect aggregated or anonymised information such as audience reports, site traffic data, and general statistics which are used to improve content we share, the navigation of the website, and enhancing the overall functionality of our online system.
Cookies
We use cookies on the website. A ‘cookie’ is a small text file that the website may place on your device to store information. We may use persistent cookies (which remain on your computer even after you close your browser) to store information that may speed up your use of our website for any of your future visits to the website. INFORMATION SECURITY
To keep personal information secure during transportation, we use the industry recognised encryption protocol known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL technology encrypts before it is transmitted through the internet to the recipient, preventing anyone else from viewing that information even if it was captured enroute. We incorporate other reasonable security measures to protect personal information against unauthorised disclosures, however no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that your personal information cannot be accessed or disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
We do not store credit card data. Any payments carried out via our payment gateway are managed directly by the credit institution. SSL checks and verifies transactions online in addition to ensuring information shared with the bank is encrypted.
ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You have a right to request access to personal information that we hold about you and request its correction if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. You may do so by contacting our Privacy Officer (using the contact details at the end of this Privacy Policy).
We will respond to all requests for access to or correction of personal information within a reasonable period. We will generally provide you with access to your personal information (subject to some exceptions permitted by law) but may charge a reasonable access fee to cover the cost of retrieving the information and supplying it to you.
